The most frequently asked question in this quest for ha [...]

The most frequently asked question in this quest for happiness is how we begin. There is no specific answer to this question. Each person’s journey depends on several factors. Where they are in their life at this moment, where they wish to be in near future and finally what do they want to make of their own life.

However for all of them, there are, of course, certain basic principles to observe. Today I will discuss these principles.

First, remember, YOU are the most important thing in your life. So start with that.

For those un-initiated, let me start with a few examples to elaborate more on this point. When you say:

My life

My family

My friends

My job

My career

My Boss

My staff

My money

My happiness

My freedom

My GOD

My religion

My society

My Life!

See the similarity there? No? What is the key word? Let me show you.

‘My’ is the key word. Indeed. So, my dear friends, it is YOU who is the key and centre of your entire existence.

Now tell me are you honest to YOU? Are you sincere with YOU? Do care for YOU? Do you love YOU? Are you honest to YOU?

The journey of million miles begins with YOU taking the first steps. No one else, nothing else matters. Only YOU and YOU only matters the most in your life. Even your GOD will help YOU provided YOU help yourself.

How conveniently we always look outside of us to put blame. Whatever it may be. Be it success, failure, disappointment, joy, sorrow … we always try to find a fitting alibi outside of us. It is so wrong. It is not outside. YOU are responsible for anything that happens in your life. Get that very clearly.

This one simple fundamental will break all the barriers in your life. You will then truly set yourself free. Do not come around with some sad stories about missing your dead parents, lost love, broken heart and all that. All these are alibis that you have found to escape from taking full responsibility of your own actions and choices.

Remember, taking responsibility does not mean feeling guilty. That is so naïve. Being responsible simply means to be consciously aware of your being. Of every aspect that YOU are.

Stop looking outside, if you wish to succeed in ‘Law Of Attraction’ and practice ‘I Factor’ theory. ‘Power Of I’ demands that first YOU take responsibility and thus bring about some simple clarity in your life. Everything else then happens almost automagically.

In this ever shrinking world, that we know, when the ge [...]

In this ever shrinking world, that we know, when the geo-political boundaries are irrelevant as they do not affect people to people contact, has it ever come to your mind, where do you belong?

Today I would like to share a feeling that is very different to me. Some may snap to conclusion and pass their esteemed view saying I am suffering some mental sickness. Their claims could be anything from manic depression to feeling of solitude or confused identity. Let me assure all of them. That is not the case. The difference is that I am able to share such feelings openly and not just tuck them away under the carpet. I am not least concerned about what others may think of me. My objective is very simple. If through these posts, if even one person finds some help or comfort knowing that they are not alone, in feeling so, then my purpose is served.

In this ever expanding horizons of life, where the world is shrinking, one is faced with fascinating ideas. Ideas, philosophies and cultural aspects that more than intrigue us. Some we would like to adopt and incorporate in our lives. Some we want to learn more. Some in fact we may find out right repelling. Whatever the case maybe. The point is, given the fact that you live in your present surroundings. Probably you have been living there for many years. It is your comfort zone. Your safe house. A place that you are at ease with. Yet, there things you wish were different. Especially knowing they different elsewhere. You want that little different aspect to be part of your ‘comfort’ life.

This becomes more intriguing and at times even torturing, when it comes to cultural and ideological ‘new’ things. Let us call it ‘new’ things instead of different things, as the word ‘new’ brings the right sense to the applied meaning against the word ‘different’.

I was born and raised in Mumbai, India. I lived in Melbourne in Australia, Bangkok, Koh Samui in Thailand and spent short spells in Khatmandu in Nepal, Pune, New Delhi in India. I am back to my home town, Mumbai. With my experience in a few different parts of the world, I have become a different person. Let us say I chose to become a different person. Call it process of evolution. Now this is where it all begins. Suddenly I find certain behaviour, which is normal for certain people, now annoys me. These are the very same people who have, directly or indirectly influenced my life, since I was born. Something that I never bothered to notice about them, now suddenly annoys me.

I can understand the aspect of a person evolving. Then again, what I understand was that evolving means one become more mature and tolerant. Whereas I am becoming more sensitive and impatient. I may not be vocal about it. The very fact that I am able to notice the disturbing annoyance and thoughts does bother me a bit.

On a deeper level, upon meditating, the question that rises to my mind is “Where do I belong?”

I guess I will never find the answer. Maybe the question is wrong to start with. Maybe I know the answer. Who knows. For the time being, the question is definitely on my mind. Not bothering so much as inviting or calling me to explore it. Explore it in an attempt to understand the question itself. Not for finding the answer. The fun is in exploring the question. Excitement is understanding the question. Not so much in finding the answer.

Here is a talk by Simon Sinek. Golden Circle. 3ZWCN7Q8PGN3

In this inspirational presentation, he has touched a subject, that will make different sense to different people. It will all depend on what you were looking for.

I find more than one application for his message. What he is trying to say, in fact, is in line with the “I Factor” philosophy. Difference being, his approach to the subject and how he treats the topic. I am truly impressed by his simple and powerful explanations.

When the message syncs in, you will realise that it touches your lives in so many ways. It can be applicable to your career, business, relationship, personal empowerment, meditation … you name it. It a fundamental shift in mind set and breaking free from the norms of conventional paradigm. We all have ambitions. What we lack is motivation and clarity. Remember my argument about the lack of instruction manual? Yes, we have read many books and yet we are not happy. Why? It is simple. Because we don’t know how to be happy. I will use every possible way, take every possible route to come to the same point. In a hope that one of them will work for you. Today I present one such alternative. Watch this video, and watch it carefully.

Instead of performing an autopsy on such great presentation, I will leave it as it is for you to enjoy. Let me know what you feel/think and learn about/from it. Trust me, there is so much more to it then what you may find initially. I have watched it several times over by now.

Haven’t you ever had that feeling that you are be [...]

Haven’t you ever had that feeling that you are being used? Especially by someone close to you. Or maybe someone you really care for is over using your generosity? Don’t you feel like breaking from it?

First of all to learn how to stay away, first thing one must learn is to know that you are being used. It is one of the most difficult things to do in this world.

Most of the time, the person involved is a person we have a feeling for. Whatever that feeling may be, romantic, friendly or plain old fashioned sympathetic. Because of such feeling we are blinded and we simply cannot see the fact. We tend to ignore the evidences of the reality. We tend to overlook the bright and clear signs warning us of cheating we are exposed to. We don’t see any fault in those people. We in fact go out beyond reasonable limits of giving them benefit of doubt. Many times we fool ourselves by believing they will learn the lesson and change.

It never happens. They never learn. They always make another sad story and one more after that. They drain your energy in all forms. Financially, emotionally and purely energetically they suck away like parasites. You get hurt but that emotional blinding numbs your senses. You do get pain but you don’t register that pain. You ignore it. You neglect it. You simply shrug it off saying that’s life.

This doesn’t help anyone. Definitely not you nor the person who is cheating you.

I speak from my own experience. This experience has brought me to a point from where, now I can see the pitfall. From this experience I wish to share the knowledge with people and hope that they don’t fall in the same trap.

Think clearly on the following points / questions: If these questions give you any insight, work on how would you use the new information to better your own life. As always, I am more than happy to answer to your questions and get some good input to further refine the method of saving ourselves from being used.

Do You …:

do it naturally or feel compelled to?

stretch yourself for being of use/help to other?

act out of your own free will or you are usually asked to/called upon?

ever consider your own priorities/limits before shelling out?

feel obligatory to help?

do it make yourself feel good?

help so that you can win over people?

help because you think you are making a change in their lives?

really believe it is going to help them?

ever consider if it is helping you or not?

This list can go on and each person from their individual experience can add and share their experience here with me and others.

It’s not an attempt to make someone look bad or feel bad. It’s my own expression. It is one of those things that’s been lingering on my mind for long. Realising that world is indeed a great place, provided one values the self-worth.

This is not about stopping to help people. It’s about realising that not everyone needs help. We ought to weed out those fakes against the genuine. It’s a difficult call but trust me friends, it is needed. Many a times it turns out that these people are none other than our own friends, family, people we really care for. But we are taken for granted. We are assumed.

In the end, we suffer. We keep quiet. Good hearted people that we want to be, we never even acknowledge of having make this mistake.

Why we fool ourselves? Isn’t that another form of emotional escape we always look for? Probably we help others so that we always remain in demand and surrounded by people. We need this because we are afraid to be alone. Maybe we haven’t found ourselves yet. That is why we need an excuse to be needed.

Clarity of thought is one thing that has always escaped us. It is not difficult to achieve. It’s just that we don’t want to achieve it.

Someday, I am sure; I will have that courage to seek clarity and live life more fulfilling. I am not complaining at my current life and still aspiring for a little bit more so that I can share it with others. I have had a fair amount of my share of hardship, betrayal, pain, sorrow and losses. Now I seek is my fair share of comfort, loyalty, joy, happiness and some achievements.

Keep watching this blog for some interesting, bizarre but still very resonating words put to noises in our minds.

There are people who suffer massive resistance to chang [...]

There are people who suffer massive resistance to change. I am not talking about rare case here. If you look around carefully, you will be surprised to find majority of the people around you, maybe even your own self included, suffers from this symptom of what I call ‘Intellectual Constipation’. Law Of Attraction and Power Of I philosophy requires that one is free from such inhibitions.

It is difficult to precisely define what is ‘Intellectual Constipation’. However one can only learn by studying more examples. Personally, I came across one classic case very recently and that prompted me to do some introspection as well as realising that this is something that needs to be expressed well.

So here is a real life example. Please visit this link and look at comments of a person who happily passed judgement on what I had written. Once again, remember, I don’t hold any grudge against him. Just not my way of life. At the same time, yes I do admit that this response did upset me for a brief period. On meditating, I realised that I am being reactive. Ins’t that strange? Then again, I have never claimed to be above all. For me the quest for perfect harmony is still on. Everyday, every moment, every experience only evolves me further. So long as I am willing to go with the flow, the process of evolution will always be fun. I am glad that I was able to accept the reactions that I had so that I could resolve the reasons and understand that it is not the other person that has generated the disturbed emotions. It is rather my own rigidity that creates the intolerance, resulting in disturbed emotions. Hence I am responsible for what I feel. Not him.

Taking full responsibility is definitely a very liberating thing. Unless of course you start going on a guilt trip. There is fine yet definite difference between taking responsibility and feeling guilty. In a way feeling guilty is the escapist way. You are not taking responsibility when you start feeling guilty. The immediate and obvious next move on your part is to find someone / something else to put the blame on. This way you are back in the vicious cycle and never get out of it. Taking responsibility is different. It is accepting our flaws and forgiving ourselves for that. In that matter it is also accepting our qualities, appreciating them and thanking the Divine for granting us the same. You see the difference?

It is about time that I started writing and posting onc [...]

It is about time that I started writing and posting once again. There is no excuse for lethargic behaviour and procrastination. Yes I teach and talk about taking life as it comes. However there is always a fine line between being unable, for whatever reason and being definitely lazy. In my case, it was he later. Yes I admit I was lazy. I found every excuse in the world to postpone the work that I ought to do so frequently.

Isn’t that a problem with most of us? It made me wonder why it that we do such things. Such a beautiful act of creative writing and sharing your thoughts and expressing; how can it be boring to the point of becoming a chore? Do we lack sufficient motivation? Is there some sort of dissatisfaction? What is it?

Thinking over the point, I found only one thing. It is basically fear of success. I have probably discussed this before or maybe not. However it is reflection of my own experience. It is the fear of success that holds us back. Especially if you haven’t had much luck with success or being sort of famous or were praised for your work. It is like you never tasted happiness or joy and hence are afraid to venture into that direction. Tragically it is so true.

My life has shown me the extremes. From absolutely born with a golden spoon, down to rags and living on the streets and almost dead, to back again in life, with full enthusiasm and excitement. I can definitely see that the fear of success or fear of joy and happiness is what keeps most of the people from taking actions. I am not asking bold steps or anything dramatic. I am just asking them to do what makes them happy. You start with small things and gradually build the confidence to do bigger things in life. Attempting one giant leap could be risky. Not necessarily dangerous, however I would not recommend. Especially, if you have been once bitten and / or have yet to taste the success, I recommend you start with baby steps and soon you will find sprinting on the fast track of joy and happiness.

I may be a fool to spend my time to come around and asking you to take action. Then again, if I don’t do it, who will. I am sure you aren’t going to do it. You haven’t done it. So I better do it. I will be the bad guy and brave it to bell the cat. I want you to succeed in life and have all the joy and happiness that you only dream of. It is there for you to go and pickup. Yes, it is that simple. Get ready to take that walk on Success Boulevard. I will be there with you on every step. Don’t fear anything. You are capable of doing it. Else I won’t be talking to you. I don’t waste time with losers. I don’t waste time with cowards.

You are brave and have come thus far. You are reading this and that is the sign of your courage and determination that you have, deep inside of you, to change your life for good. My passion is to create the magical persona out of willing and daring people. I don’t go around pushing and marketing to just anyone. If one does not wish to, I don’t bother them. When you are ready, I know you will come to me. Then we will talk. It will be so exciting for me. That’s the life I live. Magical, every moment and every day. Miracles happen almost on demand.

I have been there my friends and I know how scary it is. Don’t like it anymore. So I have chosen to live a life of fulfilment. You can too. Just get ready to act upon and follow my lead. You won’t regret. Through my pages on my sites, I will be sharing a lot. Follow the blogs, the articles, the posts and participate in discussion. Take actions, ask questions. You will see the difference happening, almost AutoMagically.

Many people awed when they read the book, The Secret or even watched the Movie The Secret (Extended Edition) were awed by the idea of Law of Attraction. There was a sudden frenzy, a strong new hope that dreams can come true. People can be happier and live the life they always dreamed of. Alas, not many success stories followed. In the wake of the popularity of the book and the movie, there were many quick buck operations that cashed upon the craze and vanished. In all, it all ended up in more disbelief, mistrust and despair.

What happened? What went wrong? It was suppose to be so simple. Yet hardly anyone has written glorious stories about it. It has died out faster than a fad. Many of the new generation teen age pop singers have a longer span of popularity then what happened to Law of Attraction. Was it all just talk and no content? Was there something missing?

Let me say this straight to your face. The answer is No. There was and there is nothing wrong with Law of Attraction (LOA). There is absolutely nothing missing there. The problem is with the people. They are so blinded with the rush of change that they forgot the essence of life. Patience. They were so restless that they gave up hope. They were all so ready for a quick fix that they did not let it work. Sadly, it only demonstrated what I have been so relentlessly trying to explain. Imagine the amount of time it takes for you to move that dirty dish from your dinning table to washing sink. The process involved. The resolute actions required and the completion of those actions to finally make it happen. Now if so much of an effort goes in seemingly as simple a task as moving your dirty plate to sink, think about Universe. How much effort and movement and adjustments it has to do to accommodate your wish.

Besides that people didn’t get it right. Most of the people that I have talked to, were so focused on what they did not want in their lives. For LOA to work, it is of paramount importance that you be clear about what you want and not think about what you don’t want. LOA does not make that decision for you. It treats your thoughts. Not the choices. Your thought is the cue for the Universe to manifest it. Simple as that. Get that very clear in your heads.

Let me break it down for you.

You have mounting bills. What you do? You keep thinking ‘I have no money, how can I pay this bills. Wish I had some money’. Sorry this is confusing to Universe. Now some wise nut may snap back at me and as then what exactly should be done. I am happy to explain that part too. When you have mounting bills. What you do is ‘I want steady flow of money to pay all my bills all the time’ now if that becomes your thought and remains that way, trust me sooner then later, it will happen. Automagically. This is how LOA works. In absolutely simple terms.

Of course there are many finer points and only an expert will can sit with you and fine tune your thinking. A service that I am offering very soon. However, the gist is, one needs to focus on what they want. Forget about how they want, when they want, which type they want. Too many instructions. Universe is NOT your concierge, mind you.

Even after having explained the simplicity of positive thinking, by example, I keep running into the same questions often again. So today, let me share a bit of exercise with you. This will help you get started. More you practise, more you it will become a way of life for you. Your life will change for good. Things will start happening almost magically. This little trick is just the tip of the ice-burg. It has worked for almost everyone who sincerely wanted to make a difference in their lives. So are you ready?

I want you to take a couple of sheets of plain paper, to write on and pen or a pencil. One one sheet, on top, right in the middle on top, write “Things I don’t Want”. On the other sheet of the paper, similarly on top, right in the middle, write “Things I Like to Have”. Now sit down. Maybe have a cup of tea, coffee or a glass of water or any other non alcoholic drink if you wish, not necessary. Think about everything that you don’t want. Start writing it down, on the first sheet that says, “Things I don’t Want”. Think hard. Whatever that comes to your mind. I don’t want this job, I don’t want this boss, I don’t want more bills, I don’t want …. Then, take the other sheet,”Things I Like to have” and start writing things you do want. Here are some simple pointers. Say, I like to have more money. I like to have better Job. I like to have a good life partner. I like to have a BMW series 7 car… Maybe you remember of something you don’t want, go back to the other sheet and write it there, immediately. Finish doing this.

When you have completed making the two lists. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Observe your breath. Feel the air that you inhale. Also feel it exhale. Do it for a few times. Now take the sheet that is marked ‘Things I don’t Want’, go to toilet, crumple the paper and toss it in the toilet. Then flush the toilet. Watch the paper get pulled in and vanish into the cavities of toilet and disappear. Watch it. Go back to the paper that has your ‘I wish to have’ list. Fold it nicely and keep it by your bed side. Read it every night before you go to sleep. Read it every morning when you wake up.

Just do this simple exercise. You will slowly start changing your thought process. Your thoughts are now filled with what you like to have. With ideas that give you pleasure. Ideas that will bring smile on your face. Imagine that intense energy. How it feels. This is picked up by Universe as your strong thoughts. The positive thoughts of what you like to have. It does what it has to, to manifest that for you. How, when is not your concern. Your job is make that list and stick with it. No ifs, buts and doubts. Just stay with it. Believe me my friends, you will be so surprised with the results that you will then never ever will want to think negative. Your life paradigm would have changed by now.

So with my best wishes for your success, may Universe bless you with abundance of wealth, health and happiness. write to me if you have questions.

Peace be with you.

I don’t know what you need. However I do know, for sure, what you don’t need.

You don’t need another teacher. You don’t need another messiah. You don’t need another guru. You don’t need another leader. You don’t need another spiritual master. You don’t need no one to make you happy. I declare, you are free.

Free as the wind that blows. Free as the water that flows. Free as the birds that fly. Free as the babies that cry. YOU, my friend, are master of your destiny. YOU are the creator of your joy. You are the maker of your happiness. YOU and only you are responsible for what you are feeling right now and how you are feeling right now.

So take control. Not of the world but of yourself. You are the raging bull that needs to be tamed. It is easier to work on yourself. You can’t change the world. You can change yourself. I am not asking you to adopt. I am asking you to flow. Let Universe guide you.

Listen to your music that plays from inside. To your voice that tells you to do things that are right for you. Rhythms that make you dance. Be prolific. Be sporadic. Be spontaneous. Be alive. That is what life is all about.

You don’t need me to tell you this. You know it. I am simply concurring the facts. Now go and do what you need to do. What will it take to get you moving? No need to tell me. Tell it to yourself and it better be something sensible. If you want something from outside, you are missing the whole point.

The point being, YOU are the most important thing in YOUR life. Only YOU can make yourself happy. No one else will/can do that for you. Stop fooling yourself. Be honest. Be loyal. To YOU.

I am not a great Yogi. Well, honestly I am not great ne [...]

I am not a great Yogi. Well, honestly I am not great neither Yogi. I am too lazy to be a Yogi; being very honest about it and not ashamed either. Not all can be great and not all can be Yogi’s.

So what would I call myself? A good question. I have always wondered that myself, over many years. A few friends did give me some titles like ‘Funky Guru’ and ‘Under Cover Boss’. However the latest that has stuck with me is ‘Spiritual Geek’. It somehow describes me, at least in essence, if not so much in detail.

I one thing I am, that is for sure, not a bore. I am restless. I like to observe things. On observation, I like to deduce inferences. From these inferences, I like to learn. Make my understanding of this mega world a little simple. However, more I try to make it simple, more it gets complicated. I guess that also is a learning process.

In my pursuit, I followed, I mean it, I followed, not tried to follow, but followed, a few people and guess what? All had beautifully presented the mystery of the life. No one had presented the answers. In the, end I came out feeling as if I was reading the same stuff in different words all over again. Questions asked. So beautifully, that for a moment, I was overwhelmed, gees, life can be so complex. How insignificant and ignorant I was. More I felt that way, more I felt miserable.

Something was not right. This is not how I am supposed to feel. What happened to all that joy and happiness? Where is it? Does it even exist? If it does, why nobody is talking about it?

One thing I knew for sure and that was, when babies can be happy, it ought to be simple. You see babies don’t like to put in so much of effort in anything. They keep life simple. When they are happy, they laugh, they smile, they sing, when they are hungry or in pain, they cry. When tired, they sleep. They can’t be bothered with what is happening in the rest of the world. I think babies also talk to GOD.

So, learning from babies, I decided to teach myself something. It had to be something that can be simply done. No skills required, not too much of thinking or anticipating or anything. Just do it sort of thing. After much investigation, I found ONE thing that fit the bill. It was a Yoga asana, called ‘Savasana’. Brilliant! You just lie down, do nothing. Sounded pretty simple.

Guess what? It is not. You don’t believe me? Try it yourself. The apparently most simple of Yoga asana, is indeed one of the most difficult to perform, lest master it. You are expected to do ‘nothing’. Try doing nothing. No movement, no feeling, no itching, no thinking … hell that is difficult. The only thing you may do is observe your breath. Just observe not even control it. Simply observing it, without a thought, without even measuring.

Well my entire journey is so full of such comical incidents that I can go on for ever, however, for now, let me conclude one thing. After all the adventures and experiments and trials, one thing I have learned, that I have learned nothing. I know nothing. I am just a simple guy. I can’t even do ‘nothing’. This makes me admire the great masters even more as they have achieved so much in their life time. I appreciate their greatness more than ever before. Only to surrender to their wisdom and the wisdom of the Universe, to go with the flow, shapeless, formless, without resisting it, is true joy, true happiness and true purpose of life.

This debate has been going on for centuries. Maybe even [...]

This debate has been going on for centuries. Maybe even more. Let’s say since human race invented language, I guess, they must have argued and debated about GOD. I have been very keen on understanding this arguments. One can say I am neither Atheist nor a Theist. However, today I wish to share an old story that was floating around on the Internet via emails. Apparently it is true story about Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Azad, ex-President of India. A brilliant scientist and a great visionary. I don’t know if the it is true. However, it is indeed very fascinating.

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new student………

Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof : Is God good?
Student: Sure.

Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student: Yes.

Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.

Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From…God…

Prof: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student:Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student:Yes.

Prof: So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?
Student: Yes, sir..

Prof: So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son…Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist.. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.

Student: No sir. There isn’t..
(The lecture theater becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold . Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy . Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light….But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality.. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God.. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so.. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
